That's a neat photograph though a plain background would have been better. Right now the background is pretty distracting.

you could have also zoomed in on the boombox too i guess. So that I could see some more of the features

Anshu, thanks for the comment. The background maybe distracting, but I've tried to capture a certain bussyness is the picture. A teenagers room is always messy, with books and clothes lying around, things pasted up the walls, etc.

Shivee, I can tell you about the features ;) It plays the AM/FM, cassettes, and CDs (shuffles, ofcourse!), sets alarm, has bass, and also shows time. Just the basic stuff. I personally like its look.

thats wrong approach girl. the picture should for itself, you should not need to label it ;)

and though you are trying to capture the buziness, it somewhere kinda does not get the effect it should have. especially that black thing in the background, strip sort of the thing does not go with the rest of the pic. Otherwise great lighting effect I like it.

It could have been better. Let me know if you care about brickbats (apart from kudos).

good or bad, comments are comments. kudos get ones hopes high and encourages him/her to keep on doing whatever it is that he/she is upto. brickbats are important for improvement. bring it on!

    Hi Geetali:

Sorry, i completely forgot about your blog, but I rememeberd it today. Now I shall frequent it more often.

    * There is a lot lot of dark portion (which is not completely dark).

    * The antenna of the boombox is too much out of the frame. It should have been lower (about 1/3rd from top in the photo).

    * There are umpteen distractions around the boombox which happens to be the prime subject.

    * the front of boombox is not nicely lit.

    Best
